Schools and universities
EduCity is the anchor. Marlborough College Malaysia (British boarding and day school), Raffles American School, Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia, University of Southampton Malaysia, Raffles University and Netherlands Maritime Institute of Technology are all inside the Medini and EduCity boundary. Sunway International School and the Sunway University Iskandar campus are 10 minutes away. National primary and secondary schools serve the Malaysian community in Nusajaya and Gelang Patah.
Healthcare
Gleneagles Hospital Medini is a 300-bed private hospital used by Singapore residents for elective procedures and specialist visits. Columbia Asia Iskandar Puteri and KPJ Bandar Dato' Onn are the next options. Klinik Kesihatan Gelang Patah covers public primary care.
Shopping, food and weekends
Medini Mall is the neighbourhood mall with supermarket, clinics and F&B. Sunway Big Box is the large-format retail centre with a food court, cinema and IKEA-style stores. Legoland Malaysia and its water park, Mall of Medini, Puteri Harbour's waterfront restaurants and the Sunway Lagoon-style attractions round it out. For hawker food and wet markets, Gelang Patah town and Taman Nusa Perintis are 10 minutes north.
